    Practicing the craft of journalism for 35 years has not dimmed Nitin A. Gokhale’s passion for reporting from the field. Though a full-time media entrepreneur now, he still loves pounding the beat besides speaking at various national and international seminars. As someone who began his career in 1983 as a sports reporter, Nitin still follows various games, retains a passionate interests in films and documentaries but regrets that his current schedule leaves him with very little time for both. With SNI, he hopes to expand understanding of strategic issues, international relations and security matters among citizens and not just specialists.

    Surya Gangadharan is the editor of Strategic News International. Formerly, he was International Affairs Editor at CNN IBN, a leading English language TV news channel. He has covered the Arab Spring beginning with the Tahrir Square uprising in Egypt and later the civil war in Syria. Other assignments include the civil war in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal and the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. He was in Rwanda following the genocide and also in Somalia. He has worked in senior positions at NDTV, PTI, the Indian Express, India Today and has worked for the Straits Times Group in Singapore.

    Parul Chandra, a mainstream journalist for nearly three decades, has worked with leading media houses in India, including The Times of India, The Financial Express and the India Today television channel. In recent years, she has kept a hawk eye on how India’s foreign policy is shaping up to deal with new and myriad challenges thrown up by a changing global order. India’s immediate and extended neighbourhood, and the manner in which the country handles relations with them, remains an area of special interest. Apart from being a newshound, she likes all creatures great and small, believes books and music are food for the soul.

    Amitabh Revi has spent over 23 years of his career tracking the twists and turns of foreign policy, defence, security and international relations both from the corridors of power, as well as on the field. He has reported extensively from Iraq, Afghanistan, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Russia, Australia and the US. Amitabh has reported insightfully from conflict zones in the country as well: in Jammu and Kashmir, the North-East and Maoist targeted states. He has a M.A degree in International Politics from JNU.
    Before SNI, he was Senior Editor, Senior Anchor and Senior Special Correspondent at NDTV for 18 years. He has also had a stint as Associate editor and prime time anchor and correspondent at WION (Zee’s international news channel). He has been awarded India’s most prestigious journalistic recognition- the Ramnath Goenka ‘On the Spot’ Reporting Prize – for excellence in covering the conflict in Iraq and the freeing of Indian nurses taken hostage by Da’esh/’I.S’. He is also the first recipient of the UN Dag Hammarskjold Distinguished Journalist Fellowship in New York.

    Neelanjana Banerjee is a media professional who has almost 18 years of experience in broadcast content programming, media production & coordination. She has successfully launched several media projects – that is, radio stations and TV news & current affairs channels and has been imparting newsroom dynamics and TV skills training both within and outside India. She has led and managed teams of over 100 people, anchored News and Non-News shows and programmes both on screen and on stage. She has now forayed into online media, and is also handling Communications and Outreach for BharatShakti.in, a portal dedicated to the Indian Defence Industry, founded by defence and security affairs expert Nitin Gokhale. She is also a Chevening Gurukul Fellow of 2016 from King’s College, London.
