NEW DELHI: Pakistan has not grown as a nation; it remains deeply insecure and army-dominated. This was how G Parthasarathi, described that country where he was serving as high commissioner 20 years ago. As he observes today, little has changed. In this edition of ‘Mission Possible’, Parthasarathi looks back on those tumultuous days, including Pakistani perfidy on the Kargil heights. He also recalls an address by then Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf that even if Kashmir was resolved, low-intensity war against India would continue.
