Home As We Heard Prime Minister's Gift To Abe

Prime Minister’s Gift To Abe

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Japan for the annual India-Japan Summit, he presented his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe with some beautifully hand-crafted products showcasing India’s rich heritage of handicrafts. These were presented by Modi to Abe in Yamanashi on Sunday. These products, made under the design supervision of India’s premier design institute, the National Institute of Design, comprised two handcrafted stone bowls and dhurries. Prime Minister Abe was also gifted a Jodhpuri wooden chest from Rajasthan.
